Surprise Appointment

I went into my doctor during my plan/lunch period today.  I haven't been feeling that great lately and was worried. Everything turned out okay and I got to hear both heartbeats again.  That never gets old!  It's amazing that there are two babies in there and their two little heart beats sounds so distinctly different.  The doctor said even though I'm still 18 weeks, I'm measuring like I'm 28 weeks.  Wow!  I know that you are bigger with twins, but geez!

First Post!

So I never thought I'd actually have a blog, but never say never.  I'm not really a witty writer or anything; however, I thought this could be a good way to keep family and friends updated with our quickly changing lives.  With that said, Rob and I are beyond excited for our twin boys to arrive.  We are starting to prepare our house by moving our computer room to the loft and are working towards finishing projects around our house.  Somehow it feels like the more we work and accomplish, the longer our "to do" list gets.

Everyday is the start of new pregnancy symptoms for me.  I'll spare you on the details... kind of boring stuff.  I wanted to include a picture of the most recent ultrasound, but the boys don't photograph that well yet.  The picture of the ultrasound is all blurry.  I'm getting a level 2 ultrasound (aka 3-D ultrasound) on November 2nd.  Hopefully I'll get better pictures to post of them after that visit.

My students at school now know I'm expecting twins and they are cracking me up with new comments everyday.  We could all use a good laugh now and then, so I'll be sure to share those comments and stories.  Here's the latest belly picture from Saturday 18w 3d.  It grows so fast, I suppose twins will do that!  Well, consider this my first post.  I'll end with a quote from one of my fifth grade students...
